Age/Birthday: November 10th 1964 House and Years Attended: Slytherin ’76-‘83 Blood Status: Half Vampire Occupation: Singer, currently not working on new material Alliance: Death Eater Status in Society: Death eater. 1. has a slave Boggart: A Crucifix Patronus: A Bat Personality (include several weaknesses and strengths): He likes to see himself as the mysterious seducing vampire from all those old stories. Through his music career and most of his public life he seems to keep this mask rather well. His words are smooth, his motions are thought out just how to make the impression. With this in mind there is little doubt on why he was a heartthrob to some many girls back before the war. However the real Lorcan is entirely different. He’s selfish, spoiled, arrogant, and vicious. His work for the Dark Lord never fazes him because he honestly never thinks about anyone other than himself. The pain these people feel mean nothing compared to the sheer delight that it brings to him. Now Lorcan would never call himself crazy, he would defend himself by saying it was in his nature, at least that’s what the ministry always said. So why shouldn’t he act out upon it? There are few people he considers friends and would actually take time away from himself to do things for. Half the reason he works for the Dark Lord is because he gets to do what he wants anyway. While on the outside not as malicious and beastly as Fenrir, he has embraced the part of himself that his mother always denied in herself and has found it liberating. Most of the time his victims don’t even know that he’s the one after them. How could such a suave and upstanding man be a cold blooded killer? quirks/habits: He has a noticeable habit of talking to himself. Or bats and wolves, he likes talking to them as well. strengths: Physically he’s exceedingly strong. He’s got a quick mind when he cares to use it. And a voice like an angel fallen from heaven. weaknesses: He’s vain, cruel, and really has no consideration for others. He’s also sensitive to light (he uses spells mostly to counteract this but still doesn’t like it), adverse to holy relics, gets very seasick over water, and can’t abide the taste of garlic. goals: To live a life of leisure with victims aplenty to feed on when he wants. Family and Friends (list relationships with them): Aurelia(mother): Lorcan was extremely close to his mother growing up. The woman adored her son beyond belief and he was spoiled mercilessly by her. From singing lessons to toys he was easily able to convince his mother of his wants. Given they shared their affliction to a point, Aurelia had more to bond on with Lorcan during the night when she was more active. The two remained close till her death, which happened over a bit of religious zealotry that his mother could never give up after her bite. Devlin(father): A quiet and somewhat distant man, Lorcan never really was close to his father even as his only son. Devlin was often at work and more likely than not to be asleep when Lorcan was most active. Still he held a large amount of respect for his father and still does. Lucinda(sister): Older than Lorcan by three years she was the apple of her father’s eye as much as he was in his mother’s. Being completely human Lucinda grew to detest Lorcan since their mother favored him and she was the parent that spent much of her time with the children. The two drifted apart throughout the years, Lucinda being everything Lorcan wasn’t, namely human and obedient. It was no surprise to their parents that she was a Gryffindor while he was a Slytherin. He has not heard from her in years and wonders from time to time if she’s dead. Then he normally gets distracted and forgets all about it. Appearance (paragraph minimum.): Tall, dark hair, and almost always with his signature scruffy beard. He looks sexy and mysterious and very much like he could hurt you if you pissed him off. He more often smirks than smiles and still wears the badass clothes that made witches around the nation swoon over him. He’s about 6 foot and does not reveal his weight but decides to let fans speculate PB: Wes Bentley Sexuality: Bisexual. The man really has no preference whatsoever when it comes to who he beds. Beauty is beauty and it never bothered him to figure it out in school that he’d just as well shag a bloke as a bird. And in the entertainment industry it really was not all that uncommon. Achievements (OWLS, NEWTS, Animagus, Quidditch, etc.): OWLs: 4 NEWTs: ….HA! Hobbies (Quidditch, Astronomy, Chess, Gob Stones): Bothering people, killing people, singing, entertaining, drinking. Biography (three paragraphs minimum): Several months before becoming pregnant with Lorcan, Aurelia was bitten by a stranger while walking home late from meeting with friends. While the attack itself was not very brutal, well, minus the blood sucking bits, it left her with an affliction for the night and for blood as well. Normally newly turned would find themselves abandoned by their family but with a two year old and still being very much in love, Devlin and Aurelia stayed together. When Lorcan was born he showed some of the same symptoms but to a much smaller degree than that of his mother. Since there is no cure, Lorcan had to grow up learning to deal with his affliction. This meant lots of sunscreen, lots of bleeding red meat, and singing lessons. Well the singing lessons were hardly part of being part vampire, but they suited him just well. Growing up was easier for Lorcan than most children with problems such as this. With a mother being fully vampiric, it led to acceptance from her. Spoiling ensued and Lorcan developed an attitude that yes, he was the best thing since sliced bread, and how do you do? This led to a split between him and his older sister and the two were never close. In fact once his sister was sorted into Gryffindor she cut off ties almost completely outside holidays. Three years later he was sorted into Slytherin and really was amazed at how little he saw his sister while living in the same castle. At school he never really put any effort into anything. He was good looking and that’s all he cared about. Quidditch was far too much effort (plus it threatened his sensitive skin) and schoolwork barely got done if it got done at all. His grades were abysmal simply because he never felt like doing it. The only thing he really liked to learn about were curses and hexes. The power they held was exhilarating and were practical unlike anything else. The idea of joining this new group of Death Eaters interested him, but he felt no need to align himself right yet. Why fight when you’ve a pretty face? Graduating near the bottom of his class (he sulked a bit at that. Honestly, there were people stupider than him? Astonishing), Lorcan drifted about from job to job, never really managing anything worth wild till he was discovered at a wizarding karaoke bar in Bristol. His music career took off overnight and many of his songs hit number one, though not all of them stayed up very long. Partying his head off he still kept quick tabs on his money and made sure to keep his investments sound. When Voldemort started to rise again, Lorcan was more than interested this time around. The ministry had managed to put even more restrictions on vampires and the like and his mother had recently died in a church going incident(the staunch Roman Catholic refused to stop going to church even after being turned, much to the sorrow of her family). He did not really care about the whole mudblood thing, but it just sort of came in the whole package. Plus, he could not deny it, the idea of getting free reign to sate the bloodlust he did have (as suppressed as his mother tried to keep it) was more appealing than most would give credit to. He joined the Death Eaters the second come around and was happily delighted at the results it turned to. A singer really had no place among the Death Eaters, but one that could snap a grown man’s neck because of vampire strength, well that was a whole different picture. His taste for darker magic was wetted under service and he quickly went to learning what he could. During attacks and missions he was brutal and efficient, and annoying cheery about it much of the time. When things settled down they settled just enough that Lorcan was satisfied, that is they were not completely settled at all. With the riffraff still kept alive by the rebels underground it was so much easier for people to just conveniently ‘disappear’. While they might go on the papers as having been killed by the Order, quite a few have simply been a meal or two back at his home. Over all Lorcan is rather lazy about everything nowadays. Certainly he will rise to the occasion, if he feels like it, but for the most part he keeps to his social circles and does not do too much of the Death Eater politics.
